The Race of Gentlemen

The Race of Gentlemen is an annual vintage motorcycle and auto beach drag race in Wildwood, New Jersey that celebrates American racing heritage, hosted by Oilers Car Club. A hand-lettered logo was created for Oilers Car Club. The poster concept was to do a unique, beachside take on a pin-up style flag girl design, featuring her as a mermaid, and was limited to three colors. We were also asked to create accompanying ticket and shirt designs to go with the event theme.
